Nicholas V. Ruble

Since his admission into the Illinois Bar, Nicholas V. Ruble has spent his career focusing solely on family law in Central Illinois, with a particular emphasis on work done in McLean County. His work has included all aspects of family law, ranging from divorces, parentage, child support, pre-nuptials and post-nuptials, adoptions, guardianships, and orders of protection.

After using his law school electives to focus on courtroom litigation, resulting in a mock trial national championship, multiple awards for trial advocacy, and the opportunity to serve as an attorney in a UIUC legal clinic, Attorney Ruble has continued to accumulate courtroom experience through numerous courtroom appearances every year.

While Nicholas is ready to represent his client in the courtroom at any time, he believes that his primary duty as an attorney is to get his clients the best possible end-result for the least cost, both financially and emotionally. He understands that litigation is just one tool in his toolbox, and he is ready to negotiate whenever doing so would best serve his client’s interests.

Nicholas has spent his entire adult life in Central Illinois, and he has lived in Bloomington-Normal since the beginning of his law career.
